Covid-19 Status

Statement to clients, industry partners and suppliers
Sonardyne International, including our UK regional offices and overseas subsidiaries, continues to support the global effort in containing the spread of COVID-19 by strictly following the local government guidelines. This includes all necessary measures to preserve the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers through measures such as social distancing within the workplace.

At this time, the majority of staff who are able to do so, are continuing to work from home using tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom to remain operational and connected with each other, our clients and suppliers. This includes Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Risk and Compliance, Marketing and Customer Support. Manufacturing output at our UK head office in Blackbushe is being maintained through appropriate social distancing and shift patterns amongst teams. The same procedures are in place for equipment repair and servicing in Blackbushe, and our service centres in Aberdeen, Brazil, Singapore and Houston.

Our global logistics team continues to process and ship orders with, in most cases, only minor delays to agreed schedules. As national borders begin to re-open and airfreight capacity increases, we expect this situation to further improve.

Subject local quarantine rules and upon the successful conclusion of a risk assessment, we are able to provide you with field personnel to support marine operations that require an element of national and international travel.

In these unprecedented times, Sonardyne is open for business and our global team remain committed to meeting your requirements for underwater technology. Our office telephone switchboards are staffed, including our 24hr emergency helpline, but we encourage you to make full use of mobile, email and video conferencing when you need to reach us. We’re here to help.
