Overview

Ultimate performance with minimal aiding

SPRINT-Nav F & FX, the latest two additions to the family, push the envelope of what’s possible. Marine robotic vehicles are going further, deeper, and are being deployed for longer missions, demanding more from their navigation systems. Whether operating in GNSS-denied surface environments or running subsurface missions where acoustic aiding sensors aren’t available.

SPRINT-Nav F and FX have been specifically designed to address the most challenging missions. Building on everything that made our SPRINT-Nav X the benchmark for high-performance subsea navigation.

Find out what's possible

SPRINT-Nav F & FX are the most powerful all-in-one navigation tool for underwater and surface vehicles, integrating SPRINT INS, Syrinx DVL, and a high-accuracy pressure sensor.

SPRINT-Nav F’s inertial navigation system delivers 1 nautical mile of accuracy over 24 hours. SPRINT-Nav FX pushes that even further, maintaining position accuracy to within 1 nautical mile over 72 hours. That’s three days of transit or operation with your position held to within a nautical mile, without a single aiding update.

SPRINT-Nav F and FX keep the same optimised form factor, diameter, mounting options and connectors you already know from across the SPRINT-Nav family. They also share the same API and Web UI, built on our common electronics and software platform. If you’ve integrated one SPRINT-Nav, you’ve integrated them all.

Select the performance level right for your operation

  • SPRINT-Nav F: Accurate to 1 nautical mile over 24 hours with no aiding. For when you need to balance ultimate survey and mapping performance with sustained periods of free inertial
  • SPRINT-Nav FX: For missions when having aiding is the exception not the rule. When you can’t compromise on free inertial performance. Accurate to 1 nautical mile over 72 hours with no aiding.

Dive into SPRINT-Nav F and FX

SPRINT-Nav F at a glance

  • 6,000m depth rating, 625 kHz DVL, no compromise on performance
  • Common mounting with SPRINT-Nav
  • Compact hybrid DVL-INS synergies dramatically improve both robustness and performance compared with standalone instruments
  • 625 kHz DVL and ADCP maximises performance when near the seabed
  • The advanced  IMU maximises performance when unaided
  • Combined system for high capability; AHRS, DVL, INS and pressure sensor – huge capability at optimised cost, size, weight and power (CSWaP)
  • Easy to integrate, simple to operate, web UI for configuration

Software options to power your operations

\ Fusion 2: As part of the SPRINT-Nav family, F & FX can be used in Fusion 2 for range aiding and complex missions.
\ Janus: All SPRINT-Navs come with Standard Janus to analyse your and improve your mission’s data. Janus Pro to takes your data even further, significantly improving performance.
\ API integrations: Our flexible API enables SPRINT-Nav to be deeply embedded in your control or survey system.
\ Origin Viewer: ADCP is a core competency of SPRINT-Nav. Record and view motion and velocity corrected ADCP data in Origin Viewer.
