We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join our Commercial team. This is a pivotal role focused on enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. You will transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support strategic planning, optimise sales performance, and drive commercial growth.
Working closely with senior leadership, including the Commercial Director, Director of Sales, and Managing Director, you will play a key role in shaping business strategy through robust analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting.
If you join, you will be:
- Delivering insightful analysis to support commercial strategy and business decision-making
- Acting as the central point of contact for data integrity, consistency, and accessibility
- Producing sales and product forecasts, including OTE modelling and performance projections
- Tracking, analysing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools
- Consolidating data from multiple systems to enable comprehensive analysis
- Supporting pricing decisions through detailed costing and profitability analysis
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and data-led solutions
- Appling advanced analytics and AI-driven tools to uncover trends and growth opportunities
- Preparing and present data for executive-level reviews and planning sessions
- Collaborating with global, cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Product
- Responding to evolving business needs with a proactive and prioritised approach
Ideally what we are looking for:
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting methods
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and concepts
Commercial Awareness
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and financial KPIs
- Experience with pricing, costing, and profitability analysis
- Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Advanced analytical thinking with attention to detail
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex datasets

Experience & Qualifications
- 3–7 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
- Degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science
- Experience in a commercial or sales-focused environment is advantageous
Desirable qualifications and certifications may include:
- Power BI, Tableau, or cloud analytics certifications
- Salesforce CRM Analytics
- Finance qualifications (e.g. CIMA, ACCA)
- Project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
