The cef will be requested by Customer Service if the system is reporting any acoustic or system related issues and is used in the troubleshooting process.
The cef stores the acoustics, alarms/events, communications, user transactions and system set up information required to troubleshoot system issues. The cef will store approximately 1 hours’ worth or data.
- Ranger 2/Marksman Main Screen > Help > Sonardyne Support.
- Select Capture.
- Store the file and send in for review. If required, you can set the date and time when the system reported an issue.
- You can store the file on the PC and send on for further investigation.
