Sonardyne is looking for a motivated IT Apprentice to join our dedicated IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting a global business with its essential IT operations.
If You Join you will:
- Play a key role in keeping our IT systems running smoothly and supporting employees across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling IT requests via calls, emails, and our helpdesk system.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing end-user support.
- Assisting with incident management and escalating when necessary.
- Ensuring staff have the right IT facilities to perform their roles effectively.
- Supporting IT projects and departmental objectives.
- Inducting new employees and promoting IT security best practices.
- Creating documentation and reports as required.
- Visiting regional offices when needed to provide IT support.
What You’ll Gain:
- Hands-on experience with technologies like Microsoft Office, Windows 10/11, and networking.
- Exposure to IT systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Server, and Office 365.

- GCSEs in Maths, English, and ICT (or equivalent).
It would be a bonus if you had:
- Experience with PC builds and IT support techniques.
- Awareness of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Active Directory, Microsoft Server, and Office 365.
