About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. You will be responsible for assembling products from PCB level through to sub-assembly and final unit production, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings and quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining the high-quality standards of our products and requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail.
If you join you will :
- Assemble product components from PCB level to final unit build, following detailed engineering drawings.
- Work with wiring schedules and utilize appropriate meters to verify assembled work.
- Identify and report any specification or design errors to relevant personnel, including Cell Coordinators, Departmental Managers, or the Production Engineering team.
- Ensure all activities comply with quality system procedures and recommended timeframes within the Company ERP system.
- Raise non-conformance reports (e.g., Observation Reports, Engineering Change Requests) in line with quality system requirements.
- Foster effective collaboration with various departments (Production Engineering, Stores, Quality, etc.) to resolve assembly-related issues efficiently.
- Provide support to fellow assembly staff as needed to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all administrative procedures within the Manufacturing Department.
- Utilize company IT resources (Intranet, ERP system) for part inquiries, stock searches, and other daily tasks.
