LBL, USBL and LUSBL
Whether you are tracking an ROV, positioning a vessel or installing a subsea template in several thousand metres, Sonardyne's low risk acoustic positioning systems provide users with the highest levels of performance and reliability.
All systems are based upon core acoustic positioning principles; Long BaseLine (LBL), Ultra-Short BaseLine (USBL) and integrated Long and Ultra-Short BaseLine (LUSBL). Each method offers different levels of positioning accuracy, range and operational benefits. Choose an LBL system for ultimate precision independent of water depth; a USBL system for fast and efficient tracking and highly repeatable vessel positioning; or an LUSBL solution for complex deep water operations requiring equipment and positioning range redundancy.
