SIPS Hi-shock Transducer
SIPS Remote Transducer·

The Type 7660 Hi-Shock Transducer is used when mounting Type 7722 Shockproof Remote HGPS transceivers on airgun arrays. Hi-Shock transducers are shock and vibration resistant and so are capable of operating in the harsh environment near airguns.

The Type 7492 SIPS Remote Transducer is the general purpose transducer used in SIPS 1 and SIPS 2 systems.

The unit is typically used where it may be difficult to mount a complete transceiver unit, either due to limited space or harsh operating environment. By using the remote transducers, the transceiver's electronics can be mounted securely away from any possible damage.
