- Marksman LUSBL
- Marksman is a new Long and Ultra-Short BaseLine (LUSBL) acoustic positioning system that incorporates Sonardyne Wideband® signal technology to provide precise deepwater positioning, mitigate the problems of interference between vessels and allow multiple systems performing different tasks to be operated on the same vessel.
- Coastal Acoustics
- Applications for coastal systems are found within the oceanography,
search and salvage, survey and
marine archaeology industries
where applications include tracking towfish and ROV
inspections.
- Deepwater Drilling
- Sonardyne’s systems provide a reliable and accurate subsea position reference for dynamic positioning systems of deepwater drilling units. Requirements for riser monitoring, multi-vessel operations and back-up control for BOP systems are demands that further extend the role of acoustic technology.
- Fusion LBL and USBL
- Fusion has been developed to meet the needs of all offshore, subsea positioning applications from single arrays through to wide-area networks that provide acoustic coverage for an entire field development.
- Ranger USBL
- Ranger is a new Ultra Short BaseLine (USBL) positioning system from Sonardyne that offers a fit forpurpose solution for Dynamic Positioning (DP) tasks and simple survey operations. The system provides an operating range of 2,000 metres and offers a cost effective upgrade path to Sonardyne’s deep water Fusion product range.
- Seismic Systems Seismic Systems (Russian)
- 3D, 4D or OBC? Whatever the technique Sonardyne has the solution. SIPS 2 optimises tone and digital ranging techniques to provide full streamer acoustic positioning on the largest of spreads whilst Sonardyne’s TZ/OBC system uses a network of low cost, rugged transponders that can withstand fast deployment through mechanical ‘squirters’.
